1. Introduction

Welcome to Roofing Ninjas Ltd. By accessing and using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all contracts and work carried out by Roofing Ninjas Ltd. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging in any services.

2. Definitions

“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”: Refers to Roofing Ninjas Ltd.

“Customer,” “you,” “your”: Refers to the individual or entity purchasing services from the Company.

“Services”: Refers to roofing services provided by Roofing Ninjas Ltd, including but not limited to roof repairs, installations, and maintenance.

3. Services Provided

Roofing Ninjas Ltd provides roofing services as agreed upon in the written contract. The scope of work, materials to be used, and timeline will be outlined in the contract provided to the customer prior to commencing work.

4. Quotations and Estimates

Quotations: All quotations provided by Roofing Ninjas Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and are subject to change if additional work or materials are required.

Estimates: Estimates are non-binding and provided as a general guide. Final costs may vary based on actual work performed.

5. Payment Terms

Deposit: A deposit of 25% of the total quotation amount is required prior to the commencement of work. The deposit is refundable up to 7 days before the scheduled start date, provided that no costs have been incurred on the expense of materials or external services such as scaffolding or skip hire. If such costs have been incurred, the deposit will be reduced by the amount of those costs.

Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, as per the agreed payment schedule in the contract.

Refund Policy: The remainder of the balance is completely refundable at any point before the work commences.

No Late Payment Penalties: Roofing Ninjas Ltd does not impose late payment penalties. However, timely payment is expected and failure to pay as agreed may result in suspension of services or legal action to recover the balance due.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Access: The customer must provide access to the property and necessary utilities (water, electricity) for Roofing Ninjas Ltd to carry out the work.

Permits and Approvals: The customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary permits, approvals, or consents required for the work.

7. Materials and Workmanship

Materials: All materials used will be as specified in the contract. Any changes to materials will be agreed upon in writing between the customer and Roofing Ninjas Ltd.

Workmanship: Roofing Ninjas Ltd guarantees that all work will be carried out in a professional and workmanlike manner.

8. Guarantees and Warranties

10-Year Guarantee: Roofing Ninjas Ltd offers a 10-year guarantee on workmanship for roofing work, subject to the terms and limitations outlined below.

• Coverage: The guarantee covers defects in workmanship that arise within 10 years from the completion date for the specific work detailed in the invoice. This includes roofing work such as lead work, roof replacement, minor repairs, gutter installation, fascia and soffit installation, and dry ridge or dry verge installations.
• Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover services such as gutter cleaning and UPVC cleaning, as these are routine maintenance tasks and not subject to the same long-term durability standards. Additionally, the guarantee does not cover damage caused by external factors such as natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or improper maintenance by the customer. Furthermore, if other parts of the roof interfere with the specific work carried out (e.g., rotten timbers affecting the work), Roofing Ninjas Ltd will not be held liable. We will always strive to advise customers on potential outcomes when such issues are clearly noticeable during our inspection.
• Voidance: The guarantee is void if repairs, modifications, or work on the roof is carried out by anyone other than Roofing Ninjas Ltd without prior written consent.
• Claim Process: To make a claim under the guarantee, the customer must notify Roofing Ninjas Ltd in writing within 30 days of discovering the defect.

9. Limitations of Liability

No Liability for Indirect Damages: Roofing Ninjas Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the services provided.

Maximum Liability: The maximum liability of Roofing Ninjas Ltd in connection with any services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for those services.

10. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by Customer: If the customer cancels the contract within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations after work has commenced will result in the customer being liable for all work completed up to the point of cancellation.

Cancellation by Company: Roofing Ninjas Ltd reserves the right to cancel or postpone the work due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather, material shortages) without liability. In such cases, any deposits paid will be refunded or applied to a rescheduled date.

11. Force Majeure

Roofing Ninjas Ltd is not liable for any delays or failures in performance due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor strikes, or material shortages.

12. Termination

By the Company: Roofing Ninjas Ltd reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately if the customer breaches any terms of the agreement or fails to make payments as agreed.

By the Customer: The customer may terminate the contract if Roofing Ninjas Ltd fails to perform the work as outlined in the contract. The customer must provide written notice and allow a reasonable time for the company to remedy the issue.

13. Privacy Policy

Roofing Ninjas Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We collect and use your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
