Your roof replacement quotation should describe the roof sections included and the details around them. The covering, preparation beneath it, roof junctions, chimney work and access arrangements all need to be considered together. We will discuss the proposed scope before you book.
Tell us whether you want the main house roof replaced on its own or whether the project includes a porch, bay, flat roof extension, fascias, soffits or gutters. It is easier to compare quotations when each roofer is pricing the same work.
Tiled roofs, slate roofs and associated leadwork
Our completed projects include hipped tiled roofs, full re-roofs with chimney work and a slate roof with bespoke leadwork to a dormer. We can discuss the replacement covering and details appropriate to your project. The specification needs to suit the roof, rather than being chosen only for its appearance.
What happens before and during your re-roof?
- Tell us about the property. Send your postcode, describe the roof sections and share any photographs you already have.
- Agree the proposed work. We discuss the assessment, materials, associated details, price and booking arrangements.
- Keep the scope clear. An old covering can conceal issues. Any further work discovered should be explained and agreed before proceeding.

Clear arrangements before you book
Can you include a flat roof or roofline work in the project?
Yes. Tell us about all the roof sections and associated work you want quoted. Joanne’s Turning Lane project in Southport included the main roof and a large flat roof extension.
Will the quotation show VAT and payment terms?
Yes. We are VAT registered. Most projects have a 30% booking deposit and 70% payment on completion; larger jobs may have agreed stages linked to completed work. We accept credit cards but do not offer finance.
Will you explain the guarantee for my project?
Yes. Our roof replacements have a minimum 10-year guarantee, with the scope and terms in the project documents. For other work, ask for the applicable terms in your quotation. Insurance-backed guarantees are not currently available.
