A useful quotation makes the work clear before you commit. We discuss the roof covering, stripping and preparation, access, waste removal and the roof details that belong in your project. Tell us if you also want the fascias, soffits, gutters or an adjoining flat roof included.
- The roof itself: the proposed covering, underlay, battens and the condition of the structure.
- The junctions: which valleys, flashings, chimney details and roof windows need attention.
- The arrangements: the agreed scope, price, VAT, payment stages and guarantee terms.
If opening the roof reveals additional work, that needs a conversation and agreement. It should not become an unexplained extra at the end.

Does a replacement roof come with a guarantee?
Yes. Our roof replacements come with a minimum 10-year guarantee. Your quotation and guarantee documents set out the scope and terms. The guarantee is provided by Roofing Ninjas. We are working towards certification for insurance-backed guarantees; these are not currently available.
Will my quotation include clear VAT and payment details?
Yes. We are VAT registered and show VAT and the total payable. We normally take a 30% booking deposit and 70% on completion. Larger projects can have agreed staged payments linked to completed work. We accept credit cards but do not offer finance ourselves.
Can I send photographs before arranging the next step?
Yes. Send your postcode, a short description and any existing photographs on WhatsApp. Photos help us understand your enquiry, though they cannot replace a full assessment of the roof.
A roof we can put our name to. Or we do not take the job.
It is understandable to worry about cowboys when so much of the work is out of sight. We would rather show you what doing it properly means: clear preparation, suitable materials and care with the details you may never see from the ground.
We will not agree to hide known defective work beneath new tiles or use a specification we cannot stand behind. If a job only works financially by cutting those corners, we would rather turn it down. Taking longer and earning less on a job is preferable to leaving work we are not proud of.
Most of our work comes through referrals and word of mouth. That reputation matters more to us than rushing onto the next booking.
