OUR WORK · WYNDHAM ROAD, WALLASEY
A full roof replacement on Wyndham Road, Wallasey, with bespoke dormer leadwork that kept the character the customer loved. This project also included replacement of the bay window and removal of a chimney.

A new roof without losing the old character
The customer wanted to keep something of the original style. The decorative bargeboards were an important part of the dormer’s appearance, so we retained their shape and character in the new detailing, while giving the finish a more modern look.
That meant taking time over the leadwork. This is a project we are particularly proud of because the result reflects what the customer asked for, as well as the care that went into making it.
Bespoke Code 5 leadwork around the dormer
We used Code 5 lead, including 18-inch material, for the bespoke work. At the front crest, we formed a triangulated diamond-shaped detail designed to direct rain away from the dormer. The photographs show the shaped front detailing and the leadwork around the sides.
