The original quotation covered the roof and pointing the chimney stack. As the work progressed, further issues came to light and the stack needed rebuilding. We showed the customer videos of what we found and explained the additional work.
Replacing a roof means paying attention to the features that meet it, too. On this property, that included the chimney and gutters. The customer’s own review describes how the scope changed once work was underway.
Keeping the customer informed
Extra work can affect the programme. Gary’s review explains that the chimney rebuild and gutter replacement caused a delay, despite weekend working. We would rather explain the issue and deal with it properly than leave a customer unsure about what is happening on their roof.
